		<description>In 2008 I built a wiki to document and share information across the company. Based on the popular open-source software that runs Wikipedia, MediaWiki, the knowledge base has become an effective reference and collaboration tool at 160over90.

Some Stats (as of Dec 31, 2011):
• 853 total pages in the database
• 301 pages are probably legitimate content pages
• 117 files have been uploaded
• 39,352 page views
• 6,135 page edits since The Wiki was setup
• 7.19 average edits per page
• 6.41 views per edit
• 117 registered users
• Booyah.

Highlighting visit history, referring sites, and the effectiveness of our client case studies and blog, the snapshot gave an easily readable and thorough glimpse into the state of the company's web presence.

		<description>ImfromDriftwood.com collects and shares true LGBT stories from all over the world to send a simple yet powerful message to queer youth: you are not alone. In Fall 2010, the IFD crew embarked on an ambitious 4-month, 50-state Story Tour to collect and share real LGBT stories from the smallest towns and biggest cities across America. For this I developed a logo and identity system along with stationary, posters, web graphics, and apparel.

/// Design Problem

Many bicycle wheels are easily removed either from quick-release hubs or by using a simple wrench. For best security, cyclists must lock both the frame and front wheel together to the rack. The best lock point for a common U-lock lies consistently on the bike’s downtube nearest to the front wheel. Even with different bike shapes and sizes, this lock point varies only slightly in height

Current U-racks have only two vertical bars for secure attachment. When a bike uses the optimum lock point on one of the two available bars, the consistent height of the lock makes it difficult to attach additional bikes with the proper lock point. When attachment is tight, the lock point serves as a fulcrum for the bike’s frame, keeping the wheelbase very close to the rack. This creates congestion, and often prevents bikes from using the second bar. In either case, storage space, or security from a sub-optimum lock point, is sacraficed.Design Problem

This creates congestion, and often prevents bikes from using the second bar. In either case, storage space, or security from a sub-optimum lock point, is sacraficed.

/// Rack Design Solution

To provide the best security for bicycle parking, racks must be engineered to accommodate the ideal frame/wheel lock point as well as prevent congestion. This is achieved in two ways.

The first feature is the shape and spacing of mount points. The circular design slightly shifts the mount point horizontally, allowing another axis of lock point options for frames/wheels of different heights. As a result, the bike frame is also shifted horizontally, which can increase spacing arrangements. Being tall and above wheel height, the clustered rings enable multiple orientation options and more parking space by allowing bikes to be positioned well underneath the rack. This accommodates other bike accessories such as baskets or child seats and up to 4 or more bikes per side.

A second feature comes from splitting the bar at the lock points. Solid bars are limiting since locks are forced to overlap when mounting to the similar lock points. Bars should be split here to give room for locks on both sides of the rack without interference of one another. This may be done with an opening on each end of the bars near the mount points, creating a flush aesthetic while maintaining integrity of the rack.

Inspiration for the shape comes from the idea of circles. Owning a bike is like owning a personal set of circles, and seeing colorful deep v rims passing though the streets often emphasizes the wheel shapes. The rack represents a gathering of circles, a communion of bicycle commuting.
